Bustr opens its financial year, 2026/2027, with an ambitious slate of releases that signals a clear evolution of the new media brand into a fully integrated entertainment ecosystem. Following the company’s birth period in 2024/2025, Bustr teased a number of projects that were public vetted at live events at malls, schools, camps, cinemas; boasting of a new age for Caribbean media. Now these select projects form the highlights of a year the Caribbean will finally be able to fully interact with the company’s premiere works and IP that set landmarks for Caribbean media – The first steelpan game, the first Caribbean collectible card game, a medieval fantasy film, and animation like we’ve never seen from the region

At the forefront is Ramajay: Riddim Rabbit, a new vibrant title and game series positioned as the first steelpan game, set for mobile, PC, and console releases. The project champions the rhythm of the Caribbean through fun and educational gameplay featuring the national instrument and melodies from Trinidad and Tobago. Engineered with a unique personality and tropical aesthetics— accessibility of the greater world into the music, tourist attractions and culture of the region is paw-ramount!

Alongside Bustr’s continual company lore, comes BlockBustr, a multiplatform project now combining animated shorts with BustrMrkt (market pop-up) games. Bustr’s ‘Mickey Mouse Club House’ of other-worldly mechazoids personifies & references the brand’s journey through genre-bending shorts, one-shot comics and arcade games that showcase Bustr’s affinity for CGI & animation, and youth-focused sensibilities.

Expanding further into narrative-driven content, Mindshaya introduces a manga paired with a trading card game. This dual-format release taps into the growing demand for collectible ecosystems and serialized storytelling. By linking narrative progression with gameplay mechanics, Bustr is positioning Mindshaya as both a story to follow and a system to engage with—potentially building a dedicated community around strategy, lore, and competition.

Rounding out the slate is One of Iron, a short film accompanied by a “making of” documentary. This project shifts the focus toward cinematic storytelling set for an appropriate winter premiere alonside an immersive event experience to kick of Bustr’s long-anticipated launch into cinema distribution. The project will be the first viewing of a fully Caribbean cast set in a fantasy imagined from author Ciara Attong’s novel Dark & Cold.
